Brittany Ponto
I grew up in the world of photography. Taking the seemly ordinary and viewing it in a new light is something that has always come naturally to me. So, deciding to explore the world of design was an easy one to make. After taking the NAIT Graphic Communications program, my love for design grew and I started working for small businesses in Edmonton, focusing mainly on advertising campaigns, menu and print design. As my career progressed, I transitioned into packaging and digital media design.
I balance my day job with my photography company, BB Collective, allowing me to work along side my business partner, shooting an array of projects from weddings and special events to product and portraiture.
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to take every project and situation and look at it from a different angle, bringing the audience in at first glance, and leaving them with the desire to know more. Ultimately, it's about creating timeless and memorable designs and imagery.
